Stereotypes: 'Emo'

Stereotyping is juging a person on how they look without thinking that that person may be different then you think..
For example: Emo kids,
People think that emo kids are depressed, that they cut themselfs, also that they always listen to depressing music and emo/emocore music, that they write depressing poetry and cry easy...

I used to be emo...(I still dress like it sometimes but then you can rather place me in "Scene")

And allot of my friends are emo/scene and let me tell you 1 thing..

Emo people dont have to be depressed..
Emo stands for "emotional" so it can be anything..
There fun people that most of the time dont even care what other people think of them..
yeah we can be depressed sometimes but that doesnt meen that we cut ourselfs..And besides that doesnt everybody sometimes have a sad moment in there life...
Everybody is down sometimes..
Also Emocore music is all about expression and life stories..
And I'm not a big fan of all emocore bands...
But I must say that I prefer emocore over that damn Soulja boy...0.o How the fuck can something that pathetic become so famous...and what the hell is that dance! 0.o...

Coming back to the subject..
poetry: Emo people are most of the time really creative people..They express themselfs through there art showing how they really are and what goes through there heads..
But the thing I hate most about people that stereotype emo is that they cant see that were joyfull people too, we love to have a laugh and dont take things too serious at all!

I hate stereotyping..
Let this be a lesson to all stereotyping people..
Emo's are fun people too
